About Zocon

In Scharsterbrug, a new Frisian machine trade was established in 2006. Jochem Zonderland puts together all kinds of farm machinery at his parents’ farm. Meanwhile, he is working on realising his dream: starting as a wholesaler in agricultural machinery.

A suitable trade name quickly came to mind: Zonderland Machinehandel. Jochem is also quick to gather a close team of colleagues. In 2008, the team of Zonderland Machinehandel starts working at a beautiful location in Joure, the Netherlands.

Quality-focused
In the early years, Zonderland Machinehandel imported machines from various countries. We sold these machines throughout the entire Benelux. However, we remained critical. The quality of some imported products was inconsistent with our ambitions. We were, therefore, looking for opportunities to produce machines and common products in-company, such as grassland harrows, rubber scrapers and tipping trailers.

Our house brand Zocon
The name of our own brand Zocon originates from an abbreviation of Zonderland Construction. We produce large volumes of simple yet high-quality agricultural machinery. For this purpose, we use solid components and durable materials. A welding robot welds all the parts together perfectly. The result? Low maintenance machines with a long service life.

Welcome
Since 2012, we are located at a beautiful new construction site next to the A7 in Joure. From this location, we can expand our own product line Zocon in the coming years. Curious? Or would you like to know what we can do for you? We welcome you to visit us at De Koevorde 6.

Mission

Zocon’s mission is to improve and simplify the work in the agricultural sector by developing and producing innovative, high-quality and affordable agricultural machines.

Ambition

Within a few years, Zocon will be a leading worldwide producer of agricultural machinery with an efficient and modernised production facility. Every year, 1 or 2 new high-quality and affordable agricultural machines are developed by a team of dedicated and enthusiastic employees.

A workplace full of passion and craftsmanship

Zonderland Constructie prepares a large number of machines for transport to national and international customers on a daily basis. Our enthusiastic and professional team makes this possible. We produce and assemble our machines with lots of passion and craftsmanship. Our workplace in Joure (Friesland) is equipped with, among other things, overhead cranes, a welding robot and various assembly and welding spaces.
